| Cool Springs Fire responded to a vehicle accident at the intersection of Swann Road and River Hill Road on Sunday. The crash occurred around 5:19 p.m. A pickup truck collided with a car, sending the car down a slight embankment and into a tree.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger in the vehicle was airlifted from the scene to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. The driver of the pickup truck did not require transportation to a hospital.
The NC Highway Patrol investigated the crash. |
