Bid Instructions
The Cool Springs Volunteer Fire Department is currently selling 3 vehicles under a sealed bid. These
vehicles will be sold to the highest bidder that meets the reserve set by the department. All bids must be submitted in writing and in a sealed envelope no later than January 6, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. These vehicles will be sold as is. If a private citizen is awarded the bid all emergency devises (lights/siren) will be removed with no decrease of the bid price. If an emergency agency is awarded the bid the lights and sirens will be left on the vehicle if buyer wishes to do so. When placing your bid please list the vehicle you are bidding on with the amount of your bid. Also have your contact information listed on the bid. Once the deadline is closed for bidding, all bids will be opened and then the highest bidder will be contacted. If anyone turns down the opportunity to purchase it will then go to the next highest bidder as long as the reserve is met.
Please note that all trucks are still actively in-service. Actual mileage may differ slightly than the mileage indicated on the website.
All trucks can be viewed Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm.
