John Fletcher started with us in 2020 after serving as Chief of Ellendale Fire Department. John was awarded Firefighter of the year in 2023. John is retired and married to his wife Debbie. Congratulations John!

Ryan Franklin started with us in 2019. Ryan very quickly obtained his NC FF I&II certification as well as being hired at Statesville Fire Department. Ryan has received multiple awards within our department along with most calls answered for multiple years along with 2023 Western North Carolina Association of Firefighters Firefighter of the Year. Ryan is married to his wife Angela whom is also a member of our department. Congratulations Ryan!
