Why did you join the fire department?

The honest reason for me joining the fire department was some of my friends in school were members of various different departments around the county. After 20+ years and moving up the ranks it has become a very important part of my life as well as my Families.

What is your favorite aspect of the fire service?

My favorite aspect of the fire service is serving my community. I moved to this community at the age of 12 and have been here since. I have since raised my family here in this community as well as Cool Springs Fire Department. Unless you have experienced the "Brotherhood" you would have no idea why we do this.

Outside of the department, what are some things you like to do for fun?

My down time is spent with my wife, Christie of 22 years and 2 kids DJ, 22 and Emily, 18. I also enjoy spending time outside working in the yard, fixing various things. Enjoy spending time out with our family friends.
