Why did you join the fire department?
My dad was a paramedic for 25+ years and my mom was an EMT for much of my very early life. They both started out as Volunteer firefighters initially. I've always enjoyed helping people in various forms and knowing that I serve the community in some way gives me a deep sense of self-pride.
What is your favorite aspect of the fire service?
I think, for me, it's the familial bond that everyone forms.
Outside of the department, what are some things you like to do for fun?
I ride motorcycles, and a whole lot of tech/computer side hustles.
