Engine 1

Engine 1 was purchased as a demo at a cost considerably less than that of a custom-built pumper.  All the necessary equipment was added, and it became our first-out truck on all building fires and fire alarms.  Today it is still our primary responding unit on most fire calls.

Response Criteria: Building fires, fire alarms, vehicle accidents, vehicle fires, Interstate calls, carbon monoxide calls, public service calls, & mutual aid with Statesville Fire Department.
