All Statesville Fire units were busy on a structure fire. Once Engine 2 cleared this call, they give out an animal rescue in the 100 block of East Broad Street so we picked up that call as well. Crews found Iredell Rescue already on the scene with some concern residence about a kitten in the storm drain. After a little manipulation we were able to move the kitten out of the pipe to were members could contain the kitten. If you’re familiar with stray cats, it did not stick around long for pictures.
