Chief 200 quickly arrived on scene and declared a working fire. Engine 7 crew arrived just behind command and made a quick attack on the fire. Dispatched advised of 2 dogs in the residence. Crews quickly located the dogs semi conscious and began treating them in the yard. Members returned to the residence this morning to check on the status of the animals and was joyfully greeted in the yard by Otto “the big dog”. Unfortunately at this time Jango “the little dog”is still under veterinary care. Great job by all departments involved. The residents are very grateful for everyone’s actions. Attached picture is with Otto with today’s crew. He says thank you as well. Thank you to Statesville Fire Department, Ebenezer Fire-Rescue, Shepherds Fire - Rescue, Iredell County Rescue Squad, Inc, Iredell County Emergency Medical Service
